Qualifications:
- Valid Missouri Administration certificate or ability to obtain
- Advanced degree in educational administration
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal relationship skills
- Administrative experience preferred
Reports To: Building Principal
Job Goal:
The assistant principal is responsible for carrying out a variety of administrative and academic responsibilities. Primary duties include: student discipline, providing supervision in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws to ensure the school climate is one that is safe and conducive to the learning process, maintaining a positive learning environment, fostering teamwork among students and staff, and assisting the principal with the implementation of district curriculum.
